This is a practice of presence with everything that moves through you, body sensations, emotions, thoughts, teachings of the soul, etc. A place and time for you to engage with life and open pathways within yourself to new possibilities.

Upon entering the movement space please have an intention of being aware of your body, and the pace that is right for you in each moment. Notice and move with the shifts and changes. The first 30 minutes of class is a time for you to bring your awareness to the transition from your daily life activities and into a place of connecting with and exploring through movement what is occurring for you right now in your inner landscapes of body, mind, emotion, and soul, a warming up, where you follow your thread of connecting inward to self, in preparation for moving with others.  When things distract you from being present, and you notice, gently, without judgment, bring yourself to a place of curiosity and orient yourself back to present awareness through one of the various techniques taught in the classes.

There is no way to do this “wrong”, what is moving through you is the path that leads you to greater healing, liberation and transformation. In this practice you learn to follow the threads that bring a sense of peace and resiliency to your nervous system.

Music as well as silence is used during our time together to support your practice and aid you in integrating the teachings. Use whatever comes up for you to inform your dance. Letting go of expectations, while developing compassion, self acceptance and the ability to engage with life from a resourced place.

Dancing barefoot is recommended.
